It’s gorgeous. The stylish and cozy home makes you feel like you are somewhere super exclusive. The colors are serene, the carpet is plush, the beds are comfy, and the vibe is just right. Second, this place is well stocked. If you like to cook, you’ll find everything you need to make great meals, pour some drinks, and entertain. Finally, the location. Did I mention it’s perfect?
Wow! This place is the CUTEST- your Pinterest board come to life. Our family had a great three night stay here. The house had all the amenities of a little home away from home. We ate meals in the adorably styled kitchen and out in the quaint little town of Roslyn. The Netflix and Amazon Prime on multiple TVs was a big bonus too.
The beds are really comfy, the kitchen is well appointed, and you are a short 7 minute walk to the heart of downtown Roslyn where you'll find great bars, restaurants, and coffee shops.
Roslyn Digs is a fantastic vacation house for every type of person. It is both rustic in style and cozy, but also has every creature comfort and technology that one could desire.
Stayed for a retreat with 9 guys total. Great space, comfy beds (I slept in the bunkbed), perfect location and wonderful decor.
Actually kid friendly! If you've ever stayed at a rental home, then you've seen the creaky weak bunk beds and numerous breakable knick knacks all over. The large bunk beds are solidly built. Lots of headroom and USB plugs too! No problem finding an outlet and TVs and internet actually work too.
The Brick is the oldest continuously operating bar in Washington State established in 1889. You guys- they still have a running spittoon. You don't get much more old school than that. Their food goes beyond 'bar food' with delicious burgers and onion rings to die for. And they have the best live music on the weekends, so check out their website for a full list of bands.
We love Village Pizza. Seriously. It's the best. This joint is run by a bunch of bad-ass chicks, who aren't here to impress you because their pizza will impress you enough. They close when the pies are gone, so get there early. And make sure you dip your crust in honey and play a mean game of trivial pursuit over a pitcher of beer while you're waiting.
(No website, because bad-ass chicks don't need a website.)
Our morning coffee go-to is at Basecamp. The brew is tasty, their breakfasts delicious, and the staff friendly! The book store boasts a fabulous selection of must-reads and big tables in the back for large parties. Downstairs, you'll find a cozy bar with delectable libations in the evenings. They also own the lot next door and it has a fire pit for cold evenings, a huge lawn and a stage for live music in the summer.
Roslyn's newest hotspot just opened their doors in November 2017. You probably recognize the name from their Batch No. 12 Vodka, or their BSB (Brown Sugar Bourbon). It's sort of like drinking a glass of sugary happiness. Check out this gorgeous tasting room, buy some swag, taste some spirits. They have a gazillion flavored vodkas, so if you're a Bloody Mary fan, be sure to include that in your tasting.
Delicious food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This family-friendly local fave is good for any palette. Their iconic mural is one of many that you'll find around town, and has famously been seen in the show Northern Exposure from the 90's.
About a 10 minute drive from Roslyn Digs, you can find a breathtaking view, tasty food and a fantastic selection of local wine. Their location is nestled atop a historical mine and inside the Suncadia Resort grounds. Play a round of golf, check out the gift shop, or cozy up by the fire with a wine flight with friends.
